The International Technology Law Association and Enterprise Estonia are pleased to present the Fourth Annual Tallinn Conference, June 2-3, 2011:
“Addressing the Challenges of the Technology Company
in the Expansion Phase”
This two-day program is focusing on the needs and requirements of technology companies as they expand beyond the boundaries of the Nordic region. It will feature presentations on selected legal and business topics of which technology companies, and their legal advisors, need to be aware as those companies expand their reach into global markets.
The topics to be discussed include: 1) marketing/branding the company, 2) public procurement in EU/Estonia, 3) financing the start-up, 4) landing that first customer, 5) acting in the cloud, 6) university research: spin-outs & spin-offs, 7) venture capital and of course many opportunities to network among international start-ups, lawyers and venture capitalists.
One of the highlights of the program will be a keynote address by the
Honorable Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Republic of Estonia.
In addition, an Elevator Pitch Contest will take place facilitated by Arctic Startup, Helsinki; Tallinn Tehnopol; Connect Estonia and Arengufond (Estonian Development Fund).
