Estonia is a country well known for electronic government and advanced internet and telecom infrastructure. Now we move the story forward by taking bold steps in the field of electromobility.
Estonian is going to make a sample purchase for more than 500 Mitsubishi iMiev’s for social workers, provide additional grants to buy EVs for 500 private persons and build a public fast charging network in a scale unmatched in Europe. This makes Estonia a very EV dense country.
To celebrate that, an electric car race will be organized from Tallinn to Monte Carlo. The race will be opened on June 2nd in Tallinn by Prince Albert II of Monaco and it passes 8 countries and 27 cities before the finish in Monte Carlo on June 11th.
As a pre-event to the Race, you are cordially invited to the seminar „The Challenges of Electromobility in the Nordic countries” that takes place in Tallinn on June 1st at 3 pm at hotel Viru.
