China's ZTE acquires stake in Estonian Bravocom

BNS - Next to Estonian entrepreneurs Oliver Kruuda and Marcel Vichmann, the Chinese telecoms giant ZTE Corporation has become a shareholder in the Estonian telecommunications company Bravocom, the weekly Eesti Ekspress says.

However, ZTE does not own directly nearly a quarter of Bravocom shares. According to the newspaper, the Chinese firm has the stake through a Luxembourg-registered company.

Bravocom promises to launch soon in Tallinn its 3.5G mobile network which is currently undergoing testing and the equipment for which was supplied by ZTE.
