BNS - Enterprise Estonia has starting from this week changed the terms of the export marketing grant program and raised to 2.5 million kroons (EUR 0.16 mln) the maximum sum that can be extended to any single recipient.
Allar Korjas, director of the export division at the state run foundation, said the terms and conditions were changed on the basis of feedback from businesses. The maximum sum that could be paid to any recipient so far was 1.5 million kroons.
The terms were also amended to allow companies active in the area of transportation and storage, as well as companies with state participation, to apply. The provision was scrapped that ordered the product samples manufactured with the help of the support money to be preserved during five years, Korjus said.
Since the program's launch at the end of last February, 100 Estonian companies have received export marketing grants and payments under the program have reached 121 million kroons.
