Estonian electronics co Clifton signs accords with distributors for Europe, Asia, America

BNS - The Tartu-based manufacturer of semiconductor components Clifton has signed agreements with British and Russian companies that will start distributing its output to electronics manufacturers in Europe, Asia and America.

The agreements were signed with the electronics components sellers and developers Mintech Semiconductors, Semelab/TT Electronics and Intelsob, Clifton said.

It said that through the global distribution network semiconductor elements developed by Clifton will reach builders of various kinds of electronics equipment for industries ranging from mining to space technology.

The manager of Clifton, Jaak Anton, described the agreements as signaling a breakthrough in the company's development.

Clifton is a hi-tech company established in 2000. Its majority shares belong to Ambient Sound Investments, the investment company of the Estonian engineers that created the technology for Skype.
