ERR - The first Estonian product brand has now entered the Chinese consumer market and not too surprisingly, it is an alcoholic beverage.
The inaugural shipment of Viru Valge, a vodka manufactured by AS Liviko, arrived at the port of Xiamen in early May, Enterprise Estonia announced today.
Estonia's Consul General in Shanghai Jaan Reinhold and Enterprise Estonia's representative in China Priit Martinson attended the historic event, which was the result of a year and a half of negotiations by Liviko and the two countries' diplomatic missions, the agency said in its statement.
