OECD invites Estonia, Israel, Slovenia to become members

BNS - Member countries of the Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation decided to invite Estonia, Israel and Slovenia as its members.

As a result the number of OECD member countries increased to 34.

With the accession of the new members OECD should become more versatile and open, OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurria said.
