ERR - Both import and export figures saw a significant jump in March, pushing the country's combined trade turnover above the 2-billion-euro mark for the first time in history, a release from Statistics Estonia said.
March exports totaled 1.1 billion euros, while imports reached 1.2 billion euros at current prices. The numbers mark a year-on-year growth of 71 percent and 45 percent respectively.
Trade figures have been on a growth track since the beginning of 2010, when they started recovering from the slump that began in late 2008.
